Perfect for oily skin

I've been using the Marine Hyaluronics for a few years now and it's become a trusted staple. I have extremely oily skin and traditional moisturizer has always been too heavy. This product is the perfect lightweight formula that doesn't overwhelm my skin. Most of the time I use it around my nose, eyes, and anywhere I need a little moisture. I use a little more when my skin is slightly dryer in winter. I love it!

First thing that actually works

I tested it on one side of my face: that side looked more moisturized, a bit shiny, the other side dull and matte. Later in the evening I thought: okay but what if I rinse it off? And even after rinsing and drying I could see the demarcation line on my forehead: where I applied it and where I didn't. So it seems to moisturize and not just put something shiny on my face. According to chat gpt (which can be wrong) an occlusive isn't necessary with this serum unless you have really dry skin, because a film is formed by pseudoalteromonas exopolysaccharides, pseudoalteromonas ferment extract, algae extract and ahnfeltia concinna extract. The humectants are glycerin, sodium PCA, PCA, sodium lactate, arginine, glycine, alanine, serine, valine, isoleucine, proline, threonine, histidine, phenylalanine, aspartic acid. Fyi: some humectants (like glycerin) without an occlusive can actually draw water from the deeper layers of your skin and then it evaporates, you LOSE water, your skin becomes drier. The downsides of this serum: it's a bit sticky, the bottle is small and I need many drops to cover my whole face.
