For what it costs, I genuinely can't complain

I put off buying a decent sharpener for longer than I should admit. I was using whatever freebie came with a pencil set and wondering why my eyeliner always looked rough. This fixed that. It handles three sizes, which covers basically every pencil I own. Standard eye and lip pencils, the chunkier crayon-style ones, and the slim ones that always seem to need a specialised sharpener nobody sells separately. Having all three in one little pot means I've stopped hoarding random sharpeners in my makeup bag. The blades are sharp. That sounds obvious for a sharpener, but I've owned plenty that just chew through a pencil and leave you with a jagged mess. This one gives a clean point on the first twist. My softer lip pencils come out smooth without crumbling, which was the real test for me. The built-in compartment catches the shavings, mostly. It works fine if you're doing one or two pencils, but if you're sharpening a handful in one go it fills up fast and you need to empty it mid-session. The lid clicks on securely enough that I trust it in my bag, though I wouldn't throw it loose into a handbag without a makeup pouch. That's asking for trouble. One gripe. After about six months of regular use, the middle blade started dragging a bit on my creamier pencils. I cleaned it out and it improved, so worth keeping on top of that. I'm a year in now and it still works, but I suspect the blades will dull eventually and I'll just replace the whole thing rather than fuss with it. For what it costs, I genuinely can't complain. It does exactly what you need and nothing about it feels flimsy. Not the most thrilling purchase I've ever made, but one of the more useful ones.
