a bit early to tell but it is definitely not as harsh or irritating as i though it would be. so far so good.

Good for acne-related pigmentation

Alpha arbutin has helped clear my dark spots after a number of breakouts. It's not a miracle but it makes a difference. It doesn't work on my melasma, though.
