I am completely in love with Valentino Donna Born in Roma Ivory. If you love a sophisticated gourmand leaning scent that feels like luxury, instead of being overly sugary, this is your girl. It opens with a crisp burst of green Mandarine & orange blossom that feels clean and bright. In the dry down, an airy marshmallow note takes the center stage. This is not heavy, or cloyingly candy at all, it is just fluffy, soft, sweetness. Combining this with the signature Madagascar Vanilla and musk at the base, it turns into the most comforting, creamy your skin but better scent. This fragrance is effortlessly chic. It skips the aggressive, heavy floral or patchouli notes that always ruin fragrances for me, and instead keeps everything beautifully balanced, smooth, and soft. The bottle is also a stunning, ivory showpiece on my vanity. This girl is officially one of my favorites.
