Delivers Noticeable Cosmetic Results

I’m a huge fan of the La Mer Lifting Firming Serum; I like it much more than its predecessor, the Lifting Contour Serum. If you want to try a very comparable product at a different price point I would suggest the StriVectin PepTight Face Lift Serum; I’ve used both! La Mer has more varieties of peptides in its Lifting serum, but they appear much farther down the ingredient list whereas StriVectin just has one peptide but it’s very high on their ingredients list. La Mer’s special advantage isn’t that it contains some uniquely mighty anti-gravity peptide though. It is the delivery system and cosmetic engineering: volatile silicones, hydration, emollients and flexible film-formers are arranged into an unusually elegant formula that disappears while leaving my skin noticeably plump, firm and comfortable. I’ve noticed that the other reviewers here say the same thing in other words - it’s lightweight and absorbs instantly. The StriVectin formula is more finicky and tends to pill on itself if you rub it too much (this is just my experience though; and I still think it’s a good product it’s just more finicky) as for the La Mer Serum I do use it twice a day, and I use it over Tretinoin at night. I’m in my 50’s now, and even for someone who took great care of their skin for their whole adult life, I still see changes that I don’t love. But the La Mer Lifting Firming Serum really does deliver noticeable cosmetic smoothing, firming and plumping, it plays well with my Bobbi Brown foundation and I like what I see in the mirror! So for all those reasons it’s a permanent part of my skincare regimen which is currently: Cream Skin milky toner, La Mer Lifting Firming serum, La Mer Night Cream, La Mer Renewal Oil, and Tretinoin of course.
