The formula of the matte side is smooth and applies evenly in one swipe. The gloss side is thicker but not sticky, yet allows for the perfect amount of hydration. The tube compact itself reminds me of the early 2000s designs where you would get a sort of 2-in-one feature like a ring that doubles as a lip balm. The doe foot on the wand matte side is the perfect tear drop shape that allows for easy application and lining of thin to plumper lips, whereas the brush on the gloss side permits control of how much or little sheen you’d like. Overall this is the most adorable and versatile holiday shade that can be applied and utilized during any season! 🎀

I can’t even begin to understand how this works because when you first apply it it’s just a matte lipstick. Then you press your lips together and it transforms into a shimmer. It also dries pretty quickly which is a good bonus. The gloss side comes out pretty thick and if you’re not a gloss person it can be a bit much but once that dries down a bit it’s actually very comfortable. Top it off with the sleek packaging and you have yourself an amazing lip product.
