Really does leave your hair clean and fresh

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first product from OUAI & really wish I had the conditioner to follow up with. The shampoo made my hair smell really good for starters & lathers so well. It really is a “detox” feel on your hair. As a curly hair girl who always has a lot of product in my hair this made my 4 day hair feel brand new after 1 shampoo. It freshened my scalp up. The downside was my hair felt a bit dry after but conditioner helped with that. I feel like if you don’t follow with conditioner it might not be the best, but for something as cleansing as this it’s a given there would be some lack of moisture after use. That said it didn’t strip my hair of all my natural oils or make it feel crunchy.

It removes product buildup, hard water residue, and excess oil really well, and my hair always feels lighter and looks shinier after using it. The scent is fresh and luxurious, and a little goes a long way. I like using it once a week to give my hair a reset, especially after using dry shampoo or styling products. It's become a staple in my hair care routine.
