Love the gloss, packaging is bad

I have been using this as my lip mask at night ever since a friend gave it to me a couple years ago. I recently bought a new one and have been really disappointed with the packaging this time around. Not only did it leak in my bag but the plastic seal at the top of the bottle is crumbling. It's too late to return and the gloss is still usable as long as I check for pieces of plastic before I swipe it on (!!). I never had these issues with the bottle from two years ago. I think it is a good product so it's very frustrating that the poor packaging is what will keep me from using it more regularly or replacing it once it is finished.

I love the Gisou product line and this is my first time trying the hydrating lip oil. The package arrived in good condition. This rating is mainly for the Honey Infused Hydrating Lip oil. For some reason, out of all the scents I decided to go with the honey one and let me say… it does not have the most pleasant smell. I don’t know exactly what I was expecting, but not this. I have been layering this one with another hydrating lip balm to help. In the future I will definitely try a different scent. If this is your first time trying Gisou Hydrating Lip Oil, I would try one that’s not the honey first. Overall, the product works and it does its job.
