Got as a free sample

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product goes on nice and smooth. It’s very tingly with a strong mint flavor on the lips if you can get past that. It’s a very nice color. My only problem is the twisting application. You can’t twist it too much because you can’t get the product back in so I’d change that quickly.

Like a gloss, but she's *extra*

Part of the birthday package, it is so illustrious and shiny for using only a tiny amount of product. The formula is very thin, very dewy. Not much in terms of staying power but doesn't look bad when it starts to partially wear off. As another comment pointed out, its an interesting choice to have it in a tube. You only need a tiny bit of product so a dozen clicks as you turn the base dispenses only a tiny amount of product (which I guess was their goal, since you only need a small amount). This very much reminds me of a gloss with extra OOMPH. Is this my favourite lip product? No. Would I consider buying more when/if I run out? Potentially.
