love

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these little pimple patches!! They work so well and they really suck all the gunk out of my pimple. They’re gone by the next morning & there is no residual redness left over. It also doesn’t leave any sticky on my skin.

Disappointed - Didn't live up to the hype or costs

Disappointed – Didn't Live Up to the Hype I was really excited to try the Peace Out Salicylic Acid Acne Healing Dots after seeing so many positive reviews, but honestly, I'm pretty underwhelmed. I've been struggling with hormonal breakouts lately and was hoping these would be my new secret weapon, but they just didn't deliver for me. First off, the adhesion wasn't as great as I expected. I followed the directions precisely, applying them to clean, dry skin, but a few times they started peeling up at the edges within an hour or two, especially overnight. That definitely defeats the purpose of an overnight treatment. More importantly, I saw minimal improvement on my blemishes. I tried them on various types of pimples – small whiteheads, larger inflamed cysts – and after 6-8 hours, the difference was negligible. My pimples seemed to shrink maybe 10-20% at best, and the redness barely subsided. I still woke up with noticeable blemishes, just slightly less angry-looking, which isn't the "healing" I was hoping for, especially for the price. I've had better luck with cheaper hydrocolloid patches that don't even claim to have active ingredients. Perhaps these work better for very specific types of acne, or maybe my skin just isn't responsive to the salicylic acid in this format. Whatever the reason, I'm pretty disappointed and won't be repurchasing. It feels like a lot of money for very little benefit.
