Nice try, but no

I’m 65, but my skin still tends to be oily. Some powders and sprays have helped, but only for a couple of hours. This gets 4.5 stars for performance. Six or seven hours after using it, my makeup is still set and my face isn’t shiny. (Half a star deducted because if I don’t spray it on perfectly, it looks a bit cakey.) However, the spray gets zero stars for appearance, partly for the canines I mentioned above, but mostly because of its color. I’m fair-skinned, so I bought Light. It’s not light, it’s yellow. I bought it while traveling, and used it for the first time in a motel with lousy lighting. I got in the car, checked myself in the visor mirror, and was horrified to see that some of my silver hair was yellow. Took a few seconds, but I realized it was from the setting spray. I went back inside and washed it out. After I got home from my trip and put on makeup under good lights, I saw that I looked sallow after applying the setting spray. I use mineral powder makeup, so I applied a thin layer, which erased the sallow look. But that step shouldn’t have been necessary. There needs to be more shades, including Transluscent.

Accurate colors, sprays well, lasts all day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This setting powder is amazing. It sprays well, stays on for a long time, is easy to remove, and looks great. You can easily build it with other products such as blush and foundation. The bottle design is not anything new but the sprayer works really well. It is also on the pricier side but well worth the money.
