Multilayered, well-blended and long lasting scent for leather- and sweet-spice-lovers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This This is the first scent I’ve tried with the coveted Oud note! As I’ve gotten into fragrance more, I’ve heard all about this one note and was curious to try. On Initial Spray: You get a leathery, warm and slightly sweet smell, I am assuming from the Jasmine/Saffron. The base Vanillin note helps sweeten and smooth it as I am not a leather fan typically. It’s very strong on the initial spray. There’s a very subtle spice scent that wafts in the first few moments. After 15 Minutes: The scent is a bit more subtle on drydown, and feels more complex. The leather is still prominent but not as cloying - there’s a warm, very delicious component to it. It’s multilayered and you can smell the individual notes as it dries and mixes with your skin chemistry. After 2-3 hours: Still sweet and complex, with a light warmth to it. It’s still powerful and radiates a bit (sillage still going!). I can’t smell any patchouli, or at least identify any. I’ve seen other reviewers mention a chocolate note come through, but I couldn’t smell it at any point. You can smell more of the Ambroxan here though, with that woody/ambery smell. It gets much more sugary as it sits, but I really like it! After 7-8 hours: Still powerful even after a lot of wear! It morphed into a more vanilla-prevalent scent. There’s no trace of leather anymore (probably from the saffron diffusing). Still has a creamy and warm feel. The packaging and bottle are gorgeous - mimics a shiny stone on the cap and marble on the bottle. Nacre is a pearl, so it makes sense. It feels as luxurious as the scent and payoff. It is VERY pricey - I would recommend trying a sample first, especially if you are averse to leather-y scents. It’s very well blended and unique, and I’ve never smelled anything like it. Overall a great experience!

Addictive fragance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smooth, never overpowering, and the pearly softness in the drydown makes it addictive. A refined scent that leaves a memorable, glowing trail
