Perfect Scent for the Holiday Season
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you Chanel for the free Bleu de Chanel L'Exclusif in exchange for my honest review. As a man in his 40's I now have a strong collection of designer fragrances. This is my third from Chanel. I like scents that are more woodsy and warm and this one fits the bill. I wouldn't wear this to work since it feels more appropriate for a night out. It is a really earthy scent and the wear time is about 4 hours on me. Once it becomes a skin scent I still enjoy it. This fragrance has an oud-like note which to me comes as leather/amber. Which is why I enjoy it for evening wear. As the weather gets colder this will be my top choice for cologne. I would buy a refill for this and do recommend it for gifting in the holiday season. Overall its in a sturdy bottle and a great scent for men

An Incredible Fall and Winter fragrance!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was fortunate enough to receive this bottle for free from Chanel in exchange for my honest review. Thank you, Chanel! A incredible showing from the modern master Olivier Polge, Bleu de Chanel L'Exclusif is absolutely fantastic, and certainly my new favorite of the Bleu de Chanel line. A masterpiece of deep base notes, woody, creamy, and ambery with just a touch of clean fresh notes, but also a touch of incense. Sweet, but not overly done. It's a surprising contradiction, lasts all day, and is definitely "beast mode." I agree it is a touch pricy, but for an Extrait it makes perfect sense. You really do get what you pay for here - a luxurious, niche level fragrance. I would pick this flanker up over the original for sure, as I greatly prefer the more dense base notes at play here, giving it a more dark and mysterious vibe. I give Bleu de Chanel L'Exclusif an easy 5 stars, it is a fantastic, long lasting, mature, and masculine fragrance that I recommend for those that like the finer things.
