A bit underwhelming if you have fair skin

I recently got the Huda blush filter in shade “Ube Cream” and I am genuinely soooo pleased with it. I have a very fair, neutral/cool-leaning complexion, but I feel like berry blushes and very flattering on my skin tone so I thought I’d try this one out. I have to say, berry blushes are just naturally going to be a little trickier blending them on fair skin than a softer one for example, but I felt that the quality of this shade just was not matching the Ube Cream one. I felt the Ube Cream truly was blurring and just seamlessly blended, but this one I feel just is nothing special, and it is not nearly as seamless. I have been using the Rare Beauty liquid blush in shade “Faith” for about a year now and I’ll just stick with that one when I want a berry blush.

Spectacular

I have never tried any Huda Beauty products before, but I saw someone online with a similar skin tone to mine use it and look great on her so I thought I’d try this out. I am never using a different blush again! Those with fair, neutral/cool leaning complexions, this color is PERFECT. I do not lean toward pink blush, but once blending this out it turns into a softer, more berry looking blush and is just so flattering. And it also blends so well too. For reference, I’ve been using rare beauty liquid blush in “Faith” for about a year now, but I think this Huda one is my new go to. It does have a scent tho— not strong, I think it’s nice, but if you are sensitive to scents just know that this is scented.
