The pencil is a full size, and a warm toned dark brown. The gloss is a mini size, and a sheer cool toned brown. I wish they had used a cool toned liner to match the gloss better, but I knew what shade I was getting when I chose the set so I'm not upset by it. The liner is pigmented and creamy, and easy to sharpen without it breaking. The gloss is just like all of the other Fenty heat glosses, which I love. I don't find them uncomfortable, but they do have that lip-plumping bite, and are a bit more on the sheer side. I didn't realize the set came with a lip pencil sharpener, but it was a nice surprise and it's good quality. I like that it has a compartment to catch the sharpenings, so it's good for travel/keeping in your bag for on the go
