I Need ALL the Shades

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not know what to expect with this shadow, but I am pleasantly no-so-surprised! I mean...it's MAC! I received the shade Taupe It Off and it is a gorgeous color that I think would look amazing on any skin tone! The stick is retractable, which is a feature that I always enjoy in an eye liner, which you can coincidentally use this shadow as! The product glides on so smoothly and effortlessly, and it didn't take many swipes to get the color payoff I was looking for. I was surprised to find out that this eye shadow is waterproof and transfer-resistant without a setting spray only because of how creamy it is. I will say that a very small amount of the product did transfer onto my finger when I tested it about 10 minutes after applying it, so I took a star off for that, but in actuality, you would have to be doing way too much for that to happen under normal circumstances. There was no creasing at all and I think the product looks great as a liner or a full-lid shadow. The shadow lasted me a full day at work (9 hours), but I'm sure it could've easily lasted another few hours had I kept it on. I'm a believer and want to get the shadow in all of the other shades now! A must have in my routine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this product for about 5 weeks now, and I love the long wear and moisturized feeling. I have sensitive eyes and with this eye shadow I get zero irritation. I received this product as a sample test through Mac Cosmetics.
