Good Product, but not sensitive eye friendly

I bought this product because i saw on social media its was an eye-doctor approved product, especially for sensitive eyes. Love the color payoff and the way this coats and shapes my lashes. However, after a few hours of wear my eyes would get irritated and watery. I would literally have to excuse myself to calm down the tearing and burning. I also thought it would be a good product for me as a person with sensitive eyes since it’s promoted as “clean”, but just wasn’t the case for me unfortunately. I would definitely recommend to someone looking for a “clean” product for their mascara, but not to anyone else with sensitive or watery eyes.

My go-to mascara is the Maybelline Lash Sensational. I have straight thin and short lashes and I need something that lifts/curls and holds the curl without being weighed down. I shy away from Waterproof formulas because I want to be gentle with my lashes. I feel that this formula meets all of that. The pricepoint is definitely higher that Maybelline but I like the "clean" aspect of this brand as well.
