Pretty packaging and nice texture

The cream has a smooth texture and applies easily, leaving skin feeling hydrated at first. After my first use, I noticed a minor breakout and the scent was stronger than I prefer, especially for daytime skincare. I personally avoid heavier fragrances on my face, which made this less ideal for my skin type. Clarins is a trusted brand with great products, but this one was not the best match for me.

Lovely light weight silky non-greasy day cream

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] [I received this product in exchange for my honest review] The Clarins Multi-Active Day Cream has been a lovely daytime moisturizer for my combination–dry skin. The texture feels silky and absorbs nicely without leaving a heavy layer. It gives just enough moisture to help dry areas feel soft while still keeping my T-zone comfortable. It also makes a great base under makeup; foundation applies smoother and looks more even when I use this cream. I appreciate that it feels nourishing but never greasy, which is exactly what I look for in a daytime formula. After about a week of trying it out, my skin looks more balanced and feels hydrated throughout the day. This one has definitely earned a spot in my morning routine and I would get again.
