Then 3 minutes or more wash the pre shampoo out and wash one's hair like normal. My hair is wavy but thick so I do need to use a good amount to really get it in my hair, due to the thickness and length of my hair one bottle is only one treatment for me. I did not notice a scent. I do like how my hair feels after using this hair mask, very soft and helped my hair feel so nice
