Gross residue texture afterwards

After using the regular Olaplex 4 & 5 for years, I decide to try this one for fine hair…. My hair is very fine. This is awful. It leaves a gross residue…. The first time it happened I thought maybe I didn’t rinse good, but nope.

OG Shampoo + Fine Conditioner

I have fine, oily straight untreated hair and I love the OG #4 Shampoo but the conditioner is too heavy. I am still using the OG shampoo and switched to the fine conditioner for 2 months now and I like this combination a lot better. It doesn't help with frizz but my hair feels more touchable, and doesn't tangle as easily. My hair looks great after air drying and a nice fluffy boar brushing. That being said, it gets greasier faster, but I have come to accept that is just my hair.
