At first, I was reluctant to use this product because the application was extremely messy. I was pouring some on my hand and trying to cover bumpy areas of my skin. Sometimes I had too much product on my hand so it started lathering weirdly. I recently started using it again - this time, with a cotton pad. There's a visible reduction in the KP bumps on my upper arms. The rough texture is fully gone, and the I suppose the marks will also slowly fade over time. It took just 10 days to see results.

Good for Rough Texture and Small Bumps

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the product as complimentary from The Ordinary, and this is my honest opinion. I’ve been using The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 0.5% Body Serum on areas where I tend to get rough texture. The texture is lightweight and easy to spread, and it absorbs pretty well without leaving a heavy or greasy feeling. I also liked that it felt gentle for a salicylic acid product. I made sure not to overuse it, and it worked well layered with a basic moisturizer.
