Gorgeous Application, but the Wear Time Could Be B

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Valentino V-Liner Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner for free in exchange for my honest review, and the very first thing I noticed was how effortless the application was. The tip is precise and smooth, which made it surprisingly easy to get my eyes looking like twins instead of distant cousins. I pulled off a clean cat wing in record time, and the effect was bold, sharp, and super flattering. The liner feels lightweight and comfortable once it dries, and the packaging is sleek and elegant, exactly what you’d expect from Valentino. Durability is where I ran into a little trouble. I forgot to use setting spray, and after about an hour and a half I noticed some smudging on my upper eyelid. With a proper base or spray it may hold better, but on its own, it didn’t stay fully in place for me. Overall, the application and effect are stunning, and it’s one of the easiest liners I’ve ever used. If you pair it with a good primer or setting spray, it has the potential to be a real showstopper.
