Formula crumbles

I bought this because my holy grain Clinique mascara doesn’t come in brown and I really wanted a brown tubing mascara that can only be removed with warm water. This Ilia mascara sadly is not a replacement at all. The plastic wand is very spiky and it’s a log process to use it and get a good result. But I could live with that if the formula were better, but it’s not. It starts to crumble through the day so I have little brown bits of mascara fall out. At this price it should be bulletproof.

Smears immediately and does not lengthen

Smeared off almost immediately. Left dark smudges under My eyes and I don’t wear mascara on my bottom lashes so this was a surprise. No lift or curl or length from this mascara but no clumps. Only positive is that it isn’t clumpy
