received the wrong item
To clarify again: I received the wrong item, and I’ve done everything on my end to resolve it — yet I’m the one facing the delays and frustration. I initially sent multiple photos showing the unopened box with the incorrect product. Your team then called and asked for clearer images, so I opened the lid of the box — not the product itself — just to show that the wrong item was indeed inside, since apparently the first pictures weren’t enough. I never removed or used the product. It is completely untouched, and this is visible in the images I’ve already provided. It’s extremely disappointing that instead of acknowledging your mistake and simply sending me the correct item — or issuing a refund — I’m being made to go through all this back-and-forth. I’ve had to call, email, and resend photos just to be told I can’t get a refund because I opened the box lid to cooperate with your request. That’s not fair, and it’s not how customer service should work — especially from a global brand like Sephora. Even budget websites like Temu will refund customers and let them keep the item without all this hassle. Meanwhile, I’ve been asked to send photos from every angle and still met with denial. At this point, not only should I be refunded immediately or sent the correct item, but I believe I should be compensated for the inconvenience, wasted time, and ongoing stress this has caused. I truly hope Sephora reconsiders how this has been handled and resolves it properly.
